Woodshed EP - 48. mental health and the pressures of social media

In February 2021 while our world was still wrestling with COVID and remapping our daily life to be lived through the "screen,"  brilliant, accomplished guitarist, Andy Wood invited Stephanie Weatherstone, our Clinical Director, to chat with him about the struggles of mental health in the context of the musical arts and social media.

From Andy's perspective:

"Recently fellow Suhr Artist, Mateus Asato, chose to step away from music and social media, that compounded with my recent struggles with the passing of my single biggest musical inspiration made me take a look at my own mental health, why do we make music? Why do we post content? What its like becoming overwhelmed, and how to take steps to preserve our sanity in todays digital world.

Its a BIG episode, and a deep journey, so I snagged an awesome guest who specializes in the field of mental health and addiction, Ms. Stephanie Weatherstone.
