I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Mental Health Counselor in the states of New Mexico (LPCC), Tennessee (LPC-MHSP), Pennsylvania (LPC), and Colorado (LPC). Additionally, I am a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT). I specialize in the treatment of eating disorders in adults and teens and use an insight-driven, psychodynamic based approach infused with ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy). I have extensive training on the impact of trauma on individuals and systems, including the trauma specific therapies EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and Lifespan Integration. I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families struggling with eating disorders such as anorexia, bulimia, binge-eating, ARFID, as well as attachment wounds, depression, anxiety, addiction, relationship issues, and more.
It is my belief that all people are worthy of love, connection, and fulfillment in this life. I consider it an honor to partner with individuals and families to find deeper meaning in suffering, and to create movement toward the client's values and goals. I strive to create a safe space for clients to share their stories and to feel heard, accepted, and empowered.
Aside from my work as a counselor, I love to run, do yoga, or get lost in a good book or jigsaw puzzle.
