Degree pending, Spring of 2026
I am originally from Northeast Tennessee, and am currently my terminal year of my graduate program pursuing a Master’s of Science in Social Work. Upon completion, my degree will include a Clinical Concentration and Certification in Trauma Treatment, which reflects my experience over the years actively engaging in trauma work with both individuals and groups. I have experience working with depression, anxiety, survivors of domestic violence, substance use disorder, individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, children, adolescents, and families. In my current work with eating disorders, I strive to apply the knowledge I have gained from these diverse experiences, while maintaining openness, curiosity, and a constant state of learning. As a Graduate Therapist, I am grateful for the opportunity to further develop my clinical skillset and share my passion for this work with clients.
In my practice, I understand that the healing journey involves many emotions that may be daunting, especially when faced alone. My goal is to partner with clients on their journey and support them with tools and insight to reach their desired destination. It is my belief that we all have inner strengths and agency that provide a sense of light and hope, even in our darkest hour. I see disordered eating behaviors as a way of communicating something deeper than meets the eye, and with that, I see a wealth of unearthed insight and strength just waiting to be discovered. I am drawn to working with eating disorders because I hope to help clients uncover these insights, let the light begin to shine through, and illuminate the path ahead.
In my free time, I enjoy getting outside, playing with my cat, learning piano, trying new recipes, or practicing yoga. I am also pursuing my Registered Yoga Teaching License, and hope to incorporate elements of this into my future practice.
