Spotlight is a program developed by our Founder and Clinical Director, Stephanie Weatherstone, LCSW, CEDS-C based on her years of work in this field and recognition of a gap in outpatient care for individuals struggling with eating disorders. It is a program of enhanced treatment for individuals who need more support than typical once-a-week outpatient care, but less support or monitoring than the higher levels of care for eating disorder treatment would offer (e.g., inpatient, residential, PHP, IOP etc.). Spotlight is designed as a type of "concierge" or "a la carte" system of eating disorder care that is highly individualized based on a collaborative assessment of individual need vs. clinically appropriate level of care.
Individuals may elect to participate in all group offerings or just one alongside their individual therapy sessions. Clinical staff will evaluate an individual's appropriateness for the program during a collaborative initial interview to ensure patient safety, will explore with each individual what is clinically appropriate, and will work with them to develop a plan best suited to the combination of their clinical needs, schedule, and finances.
Individual and family therapy appointments will be offered through Weatherstone Collaborative, unless you already have an established outpatient team, in which case we will collaborate with your existing team. Dietitian appointments will be managed through affiliated eating disorder specialized dietitian providers with whom we collaborate routinely and can offer the best, most seamless, support. Dietitian fees are determined and managed independently by each affiliated provider.
Program offerings may shift based on demand, but will maintain content that is consistent with best practices of care set forth by the Academy of Eating Disorders and the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals.
