About Me

I am a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in the state of Tennessee, and I specialize in the treatment of eating disorders, particularly in children and teens, with a trauma-informed, person-centered approach. I believe in an insight-driven approach to eating disorders treatment by exploring the emotions surrounding the eating disorder and empowering the whole person to create an integrated, dynamic identity. I have extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and their families, and I understand that the family is often an integral part of eating disorder recovery. Additional specialized training includes Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and ACRA adolescent addiction treatment.

I will challenge you to reach your full potential even though it may seem daunting or complicated. Even in the darkest times, I will encourage you to remain optimistic. My clients can expect a safe and open environment where they can feel free to share their thoughts and feelings without the fear of judgment. When I am not in the office, I enjoy spending time with my loved ones. I am originally from Chicago, IL; so any time I am able to enjoy the Tennessee weather I will make sure to take advantage of it. I enjoy my downtime as well, whether that be watching my favorite movie, reading a book, or cleaning my home to clear my mind!
