I am a Licensed Masters Social Worker, pursuing my advanced Clinical License under the supervision of our clinical team. I was born and raised in the Carolinas, but have called Tennessee home for the past two years. I received my Bachelor of Social Work from Western Carolina University and my Masters of Science in Social Work from the University of Tennessee.
I have had the opportunity to work in many aspects of social work but have found a distinct interest in the eating disorder community. I enjoy working with a wide variety of age groups, and find a special affinity for working with adolescents. I operate from a strengths-based psychodynamic perspective incorporating elements of Internal Family Systems therapy and expressive therapy into my work. In particular I utilize art therapy whenever I can as a have a strong background in the arts. I look forward to supporting patients and their families in their journey of healing and growth through Weatherstone Collaborative.
